This Privacy Policy explains how IDC INDIA INNOVATION DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (“IDC INDIA”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you use this website. We follow the principles of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

We collect only what we need:

• Information you give us: your name, email address, the topic of your enquiry and your message, when you use our contact form or write to us.
• Information sent by your device: basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type and pages visited, which most websites receive automatically.
• Information from messages you send us elsewhere: for example on WhatsApp, email or LinkedIn, if you contact us there.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data through this website. Please do not include it in your message.

• To reply to your enquiry about research collaboration, internships, venture support, partnerships or publications.
• To keep the website secure, working and improving.
• To meet legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use your enquiry for unrelated marketing without your consent.

When you submit the contact form, your name, email, topic and message are sent securely to the enquiry system run by COSMINNOX, a platform in the IDC INDIA INNOVATION DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL ecosystem. Your enquiry is tagged with “IDC India” so that our team can find it and respond.

If your enquiry relates to a specific venture or platform we work with (for example GRASA, IDCIJST or MaiCourt), we may share it with that team only to answer you.

We process your data based on your consent, which you give when you submit the contact form, and for certain legitimate uses permitted by the DPDP Act, such as responding to an enquiry you have made.

You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us. Withdrawal does not affect processing done before it.

We share personal data only in these cases:

• With service providers who help us run the website, such as hosting and email, under confidentiality obligations.
• With IDC INDIA INNOVATION DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL group platforms, only where needed to handle your enquiry.
• When required by law, court order or a competent authority.
